Coordinator Materials I

Basic Purpose : Coordinates and expedites the flow of materials to the finish department in a timely manner to meet production schedules. Work with Inventory clerks on levels in 2 bins system and cycle count reporting. Compiles and maintains manual and computerized records using the made 2 manage system.

Essential Functions for Material Expediter :

• Must be able to follow written and verbal work orders and instructions in English.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be in good physical condition.
• Must follow all company policy and procedures as stated in the company policy and safety manual including wearing safety glasses, ear protection, and steel-toed shoes.
• Must be able to work in a noisy environment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Must exhibit a comprehensive knowledge of the company's product line, usage, and optional equipment.
• Actively pursues Cost Savings measures.
• Must possess thorough knowledge of complete truck assembly line operations.
• Must be able to work in a high pace environment.
• Must be thoroughly familiar with the materials, tools and methods of the manufacturing process.
