As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to reports and alarms with calm professionalism. You will document observations, support access control when needed, and deliver clear communication and customer service to staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to location staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at entrances and restricted areas by checking identification, monitoring visitor sign-in processes, and directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and local law enforcement as needed.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, document observations and/or interactions, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
