Compensation range : $34.02 - $45.93

Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience

Shift : Days Shift length : 8 Hours

Days off : Fixed If fixed days off : Saturday & Sunday

Hours per pay period : 80

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Journeyman Carpenter works under the direction of the Project Coordinator. The Journeyman Carpenter is responsible for most carpentry related projects and work requisitions assigned to him by the Project Coordinator. The special nature of this position may require working all shifts any day of the week and holidays. The Maintenance Worker Carpenter supports and contributes to the service excellence mission of Enloe Medical Center and the Engineering Department.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE :

• Four years experience in general carpentry work or a related building trade

The position requires working knowledge of carpentry building maintenance techniques and basic electrical. Must have the ability to operate all tools used in carpentry and cabinetry trade. Knowledge of door latches locks and closures. Should be able to construct cabinetry and other related carpenter duties. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
