The Norfolk Community Services Board (NCSB) provides treatment, support, and education to the community with a focus on mental illness, substance use disorders, intellectual / developmental disabilities, and housing and homelessness. Norfolk CSB provides services to persons in acute crisis as well as integrated, person-centered, and recovery-oriented programming for persons needing assistance and support stabilizing in the community. Today, the NCSB provides treatment and rehabilitation services to over 6,000 Norfolk citizens yearly. The NCSB is seeking a compassionate and driven Clinical Coordinator to make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients serviced in the City of Norfolk. In this role, you'll assess individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, facilitate access to critical services, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve the quality of services provided. You'll also assist in program development and assist in providing clinical supervision. Departmental Hiring Salary Range : $59,393-$68,301
Essential Functions :
Education / Experience :
Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through six (6) years of college resulting in a master's degree in a human services field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Three (3) years of clinical experience in a management and / or administrative role.

Valid Driver's License may be required depending on assignment. Must be certified or certifiable in Basic First Aid and CPR. Signing Bonus : This position is eligible for a one-time $5,000 signing bonus for new hires. Retirement If you are hired October 5, 2010, or after to a position with City of Norfolk Retirement System benefits, you will be required to contribute five percent (5%) of your salary toward your retirement benefit. This will be a pre-tax payroll deduction. If you are hired January 1, 2022, or after to a position with Virginia Retirement System (VRS) benefits, you will be required to contribute five percent (5%) of your salary toward your retirement benefit. This will be a pre-tax payroll deduction. The Tuition Assistance Program is established to encourage employees toward continued self-development and education. Permanent full-time and permanent part-time classified, unclassified permanent, full-time special projects, and constitutional employees who have completed six months continuous service will be eligible to apply.
