Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed to provide essential services within a K-12 public school setting in Black Mountain, NC. This contract position covers the current school year (CSY) and offers the opportunity to work primarily with Pre-K through 5th-grade students, with the potential for the caseload to expand up to 12th grade in the future.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver speech and language evaluations, interventions, and therapy sessions to students ranging from Pre-K to 5th grade.
• Travel occasionally to a nearby daycare center to provide services for one student.
• Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Utilize Medicaid billing expertise to ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement.
• Maintain a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.
• Provide onsite services only; virtual therapy is not part of this role.
• Work independently without supervision of Clinical Fellows (CFs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
