Description :

Wound Care position available in a clinical setting.

The shift will be Monday through Friday from 0800 to 1700.

The role is designed for a nurse with experience in wound care and related procedures.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating various wounds, including debridement and graft application.

Nurses will be involved in medication administration through various routes including oral, IM, IV, topical, and eyedrops.

Ostomy care and phone triage are additional responsibilities.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is applicable to this role.

Charting will be done using an electronic health record system.

Scrub color is any solid color.

Special procedures may include compression wraps, total contact casts, and wound vacuum-assisted closure.

Support may also be provided to other areas as needed.
