BIM Engineering Technician

A company is looking for a BIM Engineering Technician to support Electrical Substation Design.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain 3D BIM models of electrical substation projects

Produce construction documents including site plans, electrical layouts, and detailed component drawings

Collaborate with engineers to ensure model coordination and implement new BIM tools and workflows

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree or certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)

Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in energy or infrastructure sectors

Strong skills with BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and / or Civil 3D

Proven experience with Microsoft Office Applications

Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States
