Job Summary :

The Engineering Project Manager plays a critical role in planning coordinating and driving engineering activities in support of Palomars development programs. Acting as the right hand to the Vice President of Engineering this role ensures that engineering schedules resources and capital projects are well organized and aligned with business priorities. The EPM partners closely with Technical Program Managers Functional Managers and Technical Leads to optimize engineering efficiency ensure project visibility and support proposal and capital planning and execution activities.

This position is designed to strengthen coordination within Engineering improving predictability accountability and overall execution performance across all active and proposed projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop maintain and track integrated engineering schedules across multiple projects in collaboration with Technical Program Managers and technical leads.
• Partner with Technical Program Managers and Functional Managers to ensure resources are allocated effectively and project milestones are achievable.
• Coordinate schedule integration between Engineering and Program Management for all programs requiring engineering support.

Engineering Resource & Workload Management

Engineering Capital Projects (CapEx)

Proposal & Business Development Support

Third-Party and Vendor Coordination

Reporting & Communication

Continuous Improvement

Level II Engineering Project Manager $110000.00 - $150000.00

Proficient in MS Project and project tracking tools.

Level III Senior Engineering Project Manager $130000.00 - $170000.00

Advanced project planning and risk management skills.

Active security clearance is preferred or ability to obtain and maintain clearance.

Occasional (>

10%) Travel may be required.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand walk sit use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear and occasionally required to climb stairs; balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment floor. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.
