Pulmonologist - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)

• The Pulmonologist performs procedures such as : Thoracentesis, Central line placement, Arterial line placements, Bronchoscopies, Bedside bronchoscopies, Intubation procedures, Patient rounding., Bedside echo, PFT interpretations.
• Providing inpatient consultation, available 24 / 7 for all inpatient care.
• Being reachable for consultative care at the request of a referring physician to discuss a patient's case, ensuring timely care.
• The Pulmonologist provides on-call services.
• Reviewing consults and triaging daily.
• Following all established medication policies and procedures.
• Providing discharge education and follow-up instructions coordinated with the next care setting for emergency department patients.
• The Pulmonologist offers post-procedure evaluation, follow-up, and clinical consultation regarding complications of procedures.
