Assistant Teacher Tacoma, WA (limited term through June 2026)

As an Assistant Teacher for Bezos Academy you share our passion for early-childhood education and the Montessori method drawing your energy from working in a child-initiated learning process. Your responsibilities will include assisting Lead Teachers in developing and implementing a program that promotes the cognitive language emotional social and physical development of each child. Drawing on your previous experience working with young children you will support lead classroom teachers in high-quality tuition-free Montessori-inspired programs in our growing network of preschools in under-resourced communities.

LOCATION

We are actively hiring for a limited-term Assistant Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year for our Tacoma - Roosevelt ( 3550 E Roosevelt Ave Tacoma WA 98404 ) school. This role is expected to last through June 26 2026.

While this role will primarily support our Tacoma-Roosevelt location it may lend support to our other nearby schools and potentially other sites as needed :

• Tacoma- Hilltop ( 2141 S J Street Tacoma Washington 98405 )
• Lacey- Southeast ( 1800 Seven Oaks St. SE Lacey WA 98503)
