Housekeeper
Reliable and detail-oriented candidate is able to maintain cleanliness and order of a two-story lodge, ensuring that all common areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Clean and maintain the lobby area, theater room, kitchen, two public restrooms, and two laundry rooms meeting cleanliness standards.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Provide fresh linens for the lodge and child development center weekly.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
- Pick up and empty trash containers.
- Remove leaves and debris from surrounding outdoor areas to maintain a neat appearance.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Complete tasks efficiently and independently within scheduled timeframes.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience :
At least 18 years of age.Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.Ability to climb stairs and move between floors regularly.Must have reliable transportation and possess a valid driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, including proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage and insurability under the agency's insurance carrier standards.Work Environment and Physical Demands :
Position is physically demanding and requires constant bending, stooping, and lifting (approximately 25lbs), as well as walking and standing; must be willing to assist in moving household items and furniture.Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Tools and Equipment Used :
Janitorial cart, industrial mop and rolling bucket, industrial washer and dryer, common household cleaners, household vacuum, and other equipment as necessary.Physical, Mental, and Environmental Requirements :
