Job Title : Material Handler

Job Location : Maple Grove, MN

Shift : 1st Shift (8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm) + Overtime

Hourly Rate : Up to $24.19hr depending on experience.

Job Summary : Come join our team! We currently have exciting possible Temp-to-Perm opportunities for Material Handlers with 3+ years of experience with Forklift and High-Reach training / certifications to work for a Major Defense Contractor.

Job Description : Opens containers using hand tools : counts, weighs, and samples materials and uses computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying, and recording information. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays by hand. Complete physical inventory counts by manually counting or using weigh scale. Required Prior Forklift and High-Reach truck trained / certified Minimum of three years of experience in inventory management. Valid driver's license. Ability to run various types of propane and / or electric-powered forklifts. Read and understand shipping documents. Being able to operate a handheld scanner quickly and accurately to find items. Inventory control experience. Computer and typing skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Suite, and other related software. Data entry skills. Dealing with complexity in instructions, paperwork, and other details. Advanced math skills. Being able to lift weights from 40lbs. Strong English oral and written communication skills. Schedule flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, early mornings, or evenings. Education : High School Diploma or GED is required. Note : Must be U.S. Citizen - "Must be able to meet ITAR requirements, including US citizenship to be considered for this role."
