Job Summary

After School Science Intinstrctor – part-time science enrichment instructor conducting one-hour after-school classes (8–10 weeks). The role teaches elementary-age children through entertaining, hands-on activities.

Responsibilities

Facilitate a one-hour after-school science enrichment program using a pre-set curriculum.

Conduct high-energy, entertaining, educational hands-on sessions once a week for 8–10 weeks.

Engage young children in the art of science.

Occasional daytime programming if your availability allows.

Qualifications

Some experience working with elementary-age (4-12) children (preferred).

Must be available at least two weekdays after 2 p.m.

Must have reliable transportation that is not public or rideshare.

All employees will be fingerprinted for criminal background checks (required).

Some college education.

Outgoing, fun personality.

Training & Materials

We train you in the curriculum and provide all materials. Mad Science classes follow the school calendar and are presented year-round.

Compensation

$50 per class conducted.
