The H-E-B Planning & Analysis Team develops and maintains budgets and financial systems while providing current, reliable financial data, analysis, and technical information. To help make essential corporate planning decisions, our analysts apply data?wrangling skills and business acumen to identify and tackle business problems. As a Business Analyst Data, Reporting & Visualization, youll support Product Managers with data analysis, requirements documentation, and reporting and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to document business processes and detailed requirements for Data Engineers and Report Developers.
• Apply understanding of the project vision from Product Owner and assist in coordinating efforts with a cross?functional team.
• Assist Product Owners in building out project roadmaps.
• Serve as a data SME in specific subject area(s); understand data flow across all systems that support the business process; map business process to systems and data to support visualization.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to translate product into solution.
• Explore / profile new data sets to understand scenarios and anomalies.
• Access / organize data; build out analyses to propose solutions for business problems.
• Create simple reports and visualizations as part of data exploration and analysis.
• Perform quality assurance / user acceptance testing for data solution or report development solutions.
• Provide ongoing support for products built by the vertical scrum team and across verticals.
• Provide ongoing reporting and subject area training for H?E?B BI users.
