Paramedic: Part-Time

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced life support (ALS) to patients in emergency situations.
  • Handle first-aid equipment, vehicle controls, and patient(s).
  • Completes equipment and vehicle checks and maintenance to maintain vehicle readiness.
  • Charting and documentation of all patient contacts.
  • Performs housekeeping functions as assigned to maintain a clean and healthy condition of the building and garage areas.
  • Performs other related functions as required and assigned.
• Necessary Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid PA Driver’s License
  • Understand and follow verbal instruction
  • React calmly and rationally in emergency situations
  • 911 experience preferred, not required
  • Ability to make decisions quickly
  • State Certified EVOC Course
  • Work closely with others
  • Must have Montgomery County Medical Command Status or obtain in three (3) months
  • Certified PA Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic Certification
  • Certified in Red Cross or Heart Association CPR Basic Life Support
  • Current ACLS & PALS, NIMS 100 & 700
