Building Enclosure Engineering Technician / Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an entry-level to early-career Engineering professional to support building enclosure system testing and field reporting efforts. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on exposure to building envelope systems and strong documentation skills who is looking to grow within the building enclosure and façade consulting space.

Responsibilities

• Support field testing and inspections of building enclosure systems, including roofing, windows, waterproofing, and façade assemblies
• Prepare clear, accurate field reports and technical documentation
• Use AutoCAD to support reporting and documentation efforts
• Maintain organized project records and correspondence using MS Office and Outlook
• Assist engineering staff with building enclosure evaluations and testing activities

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in an engineering-related field
• Experience with building enclosure system testing
• Proficiency with MS Office and Outlook
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD for reporting purposes
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• RRC, RRO, or RWC certifications (or interest in pursuing)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockland, MA.

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $38.00/hr.
