Good Tidings Foundation – Program Manager
The Good Tidings Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charity that supports personal growth and development by creating environments and opportunities for children to excel artistically, athletically, and academically. As a GTF team member, your work will directly contribute to the ongoing development, growth, and furtherance of our mission to help underserved youth in the greater Bay Area and beyond.

The Program Manager will work in all aspects of the daily operations of the charity’s mission. This is a unique opportunity where this independent, forward-thinking person will work on both sides of running a charity, from fundraising to programming.
Key Responsibilities :
Program Management
Manage all aspects of the Community Service Scholarship program – online applications, program promotion, selection process, and distribution of fundsManage the annual art supply orders for our 19 art studiosAssist with the Winter Wonderland holiday toy-giveaway program – establish new corporate donors & wholesale relationships, collaborate on organizing attendanceWork to strengthen scholarship alumni networkFundraising and Auction Management
Solicit donations for live and silent auctionsAssist with the preparation and realization of our annual fundraising event – event sales, marketing, receivables, and auction item allocationManage annual year-end giving strategy and campaignGrant Management
Oversee existing grant applications while ensuring compliance with requirementsExplore and identify new grant opportunities on a monthly basisDonor Relations & CRM Management
Regular upkeep of the CRM database to ensure accuracy of contact informationProcess and manage donor contributions, pledges, and in-kind donationsEnsure timely acknowledgment of gifts to the donorsLead gift procurement for annual Major Donor gift, Fund-a-Dream incentive gifts, vendor thank you gifts, etc.Minimum Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising, event planning, marketing, sales, retail, or other applicable industryStrong computer skills with the ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detailUnderstanding the value of effort and working with a high sense of urgencyExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, board members, donors, and partnersStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to forge relationships and partnershipsA true team player with a high level of initiative and willingness to fill in the gaps and assist where neededValid Driver’s LicenseBA or BS from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experienceMust be able to lift 20 lbsMust be able to stand for at least 2 hoursMust be able to sit at computer workstation for long time periodsPreferred Qualifications :
Working knowledge of CRM databases / softwareProficient written and oral Spanish skills, a plusJob Details :
Job location : In-office, Burlingame, CA - Can anticipate one work-from-home day per week with the exception of weeks during our busy seasonsClassification : Full-Time, ExemptCompensation : $68,500 - $82,500Benefits : Medical benefits, 403-b retirement, sick time, and 2 week’s paid vacation (An additional vacation week may be offered at the discretion of the Executive Director for the week between Christmas and New Years)Disclaimer :
