Job Summary

The PDC Security Guard will work to maintain the safety and security of the Perishable Distribution Center. The guard is responsible for monitoring the physical security and safety of the facility. Individuals must be able to utilize CCTV, Access Control, and Visitor registrations systems and be able to regularly evaluate potential threats and take mitigation steps to maintain a high level of security. The Security guard must always be visible throughout the day and be on alert to evaluate and respond to issues. Individuals must operate with a sense of urgency and have strong interpersonal skills to partner with various individuals across the organization.

Most of the time is spent moving about frequently on hard surfaces. There may be a need to occasionally bend, pull, reach, and / or stoop. Occasionally requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and / or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance. Frequent exposure to seasonal weather during trailer and perimeter checks.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $23.75.
