Sr Planner Scheduler

In this role you will serve as the primary point of contact with Order Management or respective ordering parties in day-to-day operations and provide guidance to others. Responsible for establishing schedule, planning, execution and prioritization of production orders in support of customer requirements across multiple products. Collaborate with SC Buyers and respective ordering parties with regards to order status to support all requirements. Plan Production within capacity constraints. Participate as a key stakeholder in the Sales & Operations Planning process and, in the development, & implementation of best in class Supply Chain Management Practices.

• Lead and participate in projects for supply chain activities and proxy for Sr Director of Operations and Demand Planning when needed. Serve as main point of contact in day-to-day operations and provide guidance to resolve supply chain issues as needed.
• Create and maintain work orders after each MRP regeneration to satisfy the demand schedule and customer requirements. Apply knowledge of product and process to schedule each work center while optimizing inventory, resources and costs to achieve production schedule requirements.
• Determine, communicate and maintain promised delivery dates to respective ordering parties by utilizing product knowledge, established processes and SAP to meet delivery commitments and satisfy customers.
• Manage day to day relationships with SC Buyers and act as the first line of escalation to achieve established delivery performance goals, successful execution of inventory strategy, and achievement of established KPI’s.
• Create and maintain SAP planning parameters to achieve optimal performance. Process Object Approvals (OA) & ARAS workflows to ensure timely design change and product release. Act as an interface to Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, and other internal functions to implement Object Approvals in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Execute all production order related transactions in a timely and accurate manner to control inventory. Review production order variances and take required corrective action to minimize variances. Monitor and coordinate disposition of discrepant material from work cells via block tags and SAP, for prompt processing through the Material Review Board (MRB).
• Review material availability in SAP to maintain objectives and minimize production throughput times.
• Understand and monitor KPIs using established tools in support of overall business objectives.
• Performs other duties as needed and assigned.

Education:

BS in a related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Related Experience:

• 5-7 years Master Scheduling or Production Control experience.
• Must be proficient with MS Office.
• SAP experience preferred

Special Competencies or Certifications:

• APICS certification (strongly preferred)
• Effective Written & Verbal Communication skills
• Must be able to work independently and provide direction/instruction to others
• Understanding of commercial business engagements and practices

Draeger has several sites located across North America as well as field-based sales and service positions. Our North America headquarters is located in Telford, PA just north of Philadelphia. We also have US sites in Andover, MA, and Houston, TX. Our Canada site is located in Mississauga, Ontario.

The design, development and manufacturing of Draeger’s Patient Monitoring product line takes place in our Andover, Massachusetts location.
