About the Position

We are seeking a seasonal Client Services Team Member to join our team during the most exciting time of the year in the tax and accounting field mid January through end of April. This is an hourly position between 25 and 40 hours/week.

As a Client Services Team Member youll provide fundamental client service and operational skills support, and work collaboratively with all members of the organization to deliver an exceptional client experience.

What youll get to do

In this role, youll serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a warm and professional experience whether in person, over the phone, or via email. Youll assist clients by answering general questions, addressing concerns related to return statuses and payments, or routing them to the appropriate team member as needed. You'll also be responsible for distributing important information to clients in their preferred format, whether electronically or in print. In addition to client interaction, youll support the team with a variety of administrative tasks. These include scanning client workpapers into project files, downloading and reviewing documents for accuracy, assisting with document management in accordance with ITS procedures, and performing data entry. Your attention to detail and ability to stay organized will help ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll bring to the team

• Minimum one year of relevant experience and/or training in a business environment.
• An associate degree or some college coursework preferred.
• Computer experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Multitasking skills as well as the ability to prioritize work without assistance.
• Strong communication skills with emphasis on both oral and written communication when dealing with clients and other team members.
• Ability to work at a sustained pace while producing quality work.
• Understanding of tax terminology is preferred.
