Description : This position is the primary receptionist who will be greeting and checking in student patients.
Examples of Duties
Examples of Duties : Answers telephones, takes messages, opens and distributes mail, greets clients, responds to routine questions and refers calls to staff. Alphabetizes and files a variety of materials.
The CWC may adjust availability of the office assistant as the needs of the coverage for the center may take priority as necessary.
Can assist medical staff with rooming patients and taking vitals .
Prepares charts with necessary documentation and inspects all forms and verifies charts for accuracy. Maintain student health files. Stores and secures all student client files. Maintains confidentiality of all communication, correspondence and all other information in the Center.
Reception duties to include, checking in students for appointments, helping students with completing required documentation for appointments.
Helps the Director with scheduling meetings and appointments.
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications : High school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational / technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications : Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook) and office machines. Three (3) years of experiencing working reception / front desk in a medical office is preferred. Proficiency in working with Protected Health Information (PHI).
