We are currently searching for an experienced Senior Bridge Engineer focusing on bridge design and plan production to support our Gulf Region located in Brentwood / Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, or Memphis, TN . Candidates must be willing to relocate to Tennessee if out of state.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, 10 years of professional experience in structural engineering.

What you’ll be doing :

• Lead and oversee bridge design projects from concept through completion, including analysis, design, and preparation of construction documents
• Manage the development of design plans, specifications, and calculations for various transportation and infrastructure projects
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery
• Perform structural analysis using state-of-the-art software and apply engineering principles to solve complex design challenges
• Ensure compliance with TDOT and other clients’ design standards, guidelines, and specifications
• Review and approve design plans, calculations, and construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and quality
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers and staff.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the condition of existing structures and to monitor construction progress
• Review contractor submittals and provide recommendations on materials, methods, and construction procedures
• Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies to discuss project requirements and progress
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and advancements in structural engineering technology
