SSM Health Mid Del Family Medicine is seeking a dedicated LPN to provide exceptional patient care under the guidance of our nursing staff and physicians.

Job Summary :

As an LPN, you will play a vital role in the assessment and treatment of patients, fully utilizing your license and skills in a supportive clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in patient assessments, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Administer medications and monitor patients for any side effects or reactions.

Conduct laboratory tests and provide therapeutic services.

Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, holistic health options, resources, and follow-up care.

Document patient encounters accurately, including diagnoses, symptoms, and discharge instructions.

Transcribe orders for labs, radiology, and medications, ensuring completeness for provider review.

Maintain constant vigilance in a safe working environment.

Perform additional tasks as needed to support the team and enhance patient care.

Education and Experience :

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program or hold an equivalent educational qualification.

No prior experience required; we welcome new graduates!

Physical Requirements :

Ability to communicate effectively, standing and walking for extended periods.

Frequent lifting of items up to 25 lbs., with occasional lifting of 25-50 lbs., as well as assisting patients.

Frequent use of hands for typing, reaching, and conducting physical tasks.

Good eyesight to interpret close and distant information, and hearing to understand verbal communication.

Occasional driving and physical movement, including bending and repetitive motions.

Licenses and Certifications :

Must hold a Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association.

Must possess a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from a Compact State.

Work Schedule :

This role operates on a Day Shift (40 hour work week).
