Forklift Operator
Job Description
As a Forklift Operator, you will initially focus on picking duties for the first 2-3 weeks before obtaining forklift certification. Once certified, you will spend 80% of your workday operating a sit-down forklift at floor level, moving bins and pallets around the production floor, inspecting loads, and performing general cleaning. The operation involves using a single double forklift, capable of lifting two pallets simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently on the production floor.
- Inspect loads, build pallets, pick orders, and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
- Ensure prompt storage of juice bins and continuous supply for the HPP process in the bottling area.
- Transport materials using NetSuite via computer, phone, or handheld devices.
- Organize pallets and materials, manage dunnage, and load trailers.
- Locate and deliver empty bins as needed.
- Move completed pallets to the shrink wrap machine and document pallet counts accurately.
- Organize Packaging / Packout areas and systematically transfer supplies using NetSuite / RF Smart applications.
- Effectively use electronic devices for tracking purposes.
- Report safety concerns, equipment misuse, and work-related incidents promptly.
- Ensure conveyors do not become backed up and complete daily dunnage tasks.
- Adhere to SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines in the plant.
Essential Skills
Minimum 2 years of recent consistent forklift experience.Proficiency in sit-down forklift operation.Experience with RF Smart systems.Ability to multitask and troubleshoot.Attention to detail in production and filling machine operations.Proficiency with computers and handheld devices.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr.
