Construction Engineering Inspector

Join our team as a Construction Engineering Inspector! Your expertise will ensure that construction projects meet the highest quality standards. We are seeking motivated candidates to monitor construction activities, conduct inspections, and perform material testing.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Oversee contractor's construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications through diligent inspections.
• Conduct a variety of materials testing, inspections, and traffic control monitoring.
• Perform field sampling and testing of soil density, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials to confirm quality.
• Execute routine field tests in accordance with ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, GDOT, and other relevant standards.
• Maintain quality assurance throughout the construction process.
• Inspect contractor's traffic control measures during construction projects.
• Adhere to scheduling and attendance requirements consistently.
• Interpret schematic drawings for locating and recording sampling / testing sites.
• Understand construction documents and specifications prepared in accordance with GDOT standards.
