Pay range for this position is $34.25 - $51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse is responsible for participating in all aspects of patient care. This positions scope includes, but is not limited to nursing assessments, nursing care, patient and family education, case management, treatment planning, and contributing to patient care conferences. This position provides professional nursing care services to patients with psychiatric disorders. This position participates in house-wide and unit specific committees and provides community and in-house education as needed. This individual demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages and diagnoses of the patients served.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: 1 year minimum
• License/Certifications: Current state license as a registered nurse and current CPR certification
• Other Skills/Knowledge: Effective interpersonal and analytical skills to assess patients physical, psychological, and social needs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Experience: Participation in a behavioral health treatment setting (multidisciplinary team); Psychiatric nurse certification; Leading of educational type groups
