The Role
You will operate state-of-the-art printing presses to deliver high-quality printing and finishing services for film, paper, and specialty materials. Working alongside 160 employee-owners in a collaborative environment, you'll monitor production quality, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in our comprehensive training program while serving essential markets including food, consumer goods, industrial, and healthcare.
Schedule : Work only 15 days per month with our unique 2-2-3 schedule
- Work : Monday & Tuesday – Off : Wednesday & Thursday – Work : Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
- Off : Monday & Tuesday – Work : Wednesday & Thursday – Off : Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
- 12-hour static shifts (Nights - 6 : 00pm – 6 : 00am) (Days - 6 : 00am - 6 : 00pm)
What You'll Do
Safely operate machine and assume general responsibility and oversight for assigned jobsNarrow / wide web, water base / solvent inks, multiple substrates as applicableMonitor quality, production, and waste, adjusting to customer specifications / demandsEnsure product meets the quality requirements set by your Supervisor / ManagerPerform printing jobs of 1-10 color surface and reverse print as neededSet up for cylinders, plates, sleeves and anilox rollsProvide direct oversight to Press Assistant on assigned machine on primary tasksAssign tasks each shift as neededChecking ink, shafting rolls, splicing, threading machine, cleaning work environmentWork as a team to ensure all jobs are done timely and accuratelyTrain and coach assistants as needed to elevate their job performanceShaft new rolls of paper on each shiftSplice new rolls to existing web and thread machine when necessaryIdentify and react to production problems (safety, quality, shortage of raw materials, out of spec raw materials and inventory issues).Troubleshoot machine problems and determine which problems need to escalate to maintenance and / or supervisorsOther duties as assignedWhat You’ll Bring
Essential Qualifications :
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 65 poundsBasic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring toolsStrong communication skills and positive attitudeWillingness to learn and adapt in a technical environmentAbility to pass pre-employment drug screeningPreferred Qualifications :
3+ years of flexographic printing experienceBasic computer knowledgePrevious manufacturing experienceCompensation & Benefits
Starting Salary :
Wages ranging from $25.00 - $35.00 per hour , dependent on experience.Total Rewards :
