A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Aviation Engineering Project Manager for their Dallas team!

Responsibilities :

• Business Development responsibilities :
• Develop new business
• Identify / market additional business opportunities for existing clients
• Client relations management
• Participate in proposal presentations
• Utilize CRM for tracking all business development activities
• Meet with new / existing clients to gather project information
• Develop proposal sections and scopes of work with technical staff
• Management responsibilities :
• Manage overall financial performance and day-to-day operations
• Implement growth / sales plans
• Develop strategic plan for department
• Manage / deliver quality aviation projects on-time and within budget
• Meet / exceed client expectations
• Conduct job hazard analysis
• Create job site specific health / safety plans
• Mentor / train junior staff
• Utilize staff to keep project on budget
• Technical responsibilities :
• Manage multiple projects at once
• Provide technical direction / development on scope of work
• Mitigate project risk
• Assign projects to designers / engineers
• Manage scope
• Identify / document changes in scope and acquire amendments for changes
• Perform airfield civil engineering design tasks
• Manage the bidding process
• Prepare complex studies, construction documents, drawings, maps, reports and supporting documentation
• Provide senior QC review and direction
• Visit work sites to monitor project progress
• Communicate regularly with clients
• Define scope of work and man-hour requirements
• Ensure tasks, project schedules, and budgets are met
• Create engineering reports, specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages
• Lead project decisions regarding technical aspects, cost, and schedule
• Identify schedule / cost variances and recommend corrective action

Requirements :

Salary is commensurate with experience.
