Job Description

This is a 6-month contract position with a high possibility for extension or direct hire options in 2026. The role involves 50% technical documentation and new product development, including reviewing customer requirements and documenting these in test plans, test results, engineering documents, and safety assessments. The position also includes 20% mechanical design, focusing on creating and modifying 3D drawings using SolidWorks, and 30% stress analysis utilizing ANSYS, with proficiency in hand calculations considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support a project recently won by using legacy and existing technology and features.
• Conduct design and analysis tasks for fluid systems and valves.
• Review customer requirements and document and report on those requirements.
• Create and modify 3D drawings using SolidWorks.
• Perform stress analysis utilizing ANSYS.

Work Environment

The position is 100% remote for the first 3 months, after which there will be an occasional need to visit the office for test plans and overseeing testing / results. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $58.00 / hr.
