General Surgeon

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a BE / BC General Surgeon for our Augusta Hospital location. This candidate will possess the motivation and expertise to continue providing excellent clinical care to a thriving medical community.

We are looking for a partner with interests in endoscopic including minimally invasive surgical procedures. Robotic experience is a plus, but not mandatory. We have an excellent, cooperative relationship with GI providers in the community that works hand in hand with our surgeons. We try to offer work / life balance within the Piedmont family and call rotation is manageable with Piedmont Athens Regional’s acute care surgeons overseeing the trauma and acute care surgery call as well as the robust team of hospitalists that provide 24-hour coverage.

Requirements :

• Medical Degree (MD or DO)
• Active license in Georgia or eligible to obtain
• Board Certified / Board Eligible
