Inventory Associate

Job SummaryThe Inventory Specialist is a key member of the ITAD team, responsible for the location and accuracy of all assets in the warehouse. This includes the placement, movement, maintenance, and retrieval of items. The role ensures inventory accuracy, manages orders, and supports sales or production by maintaining optimal stock levels.Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all warehouse locations are accurately marked.
- Place items in proper locations, move equipment, and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Pick assets and assist with both bulk and individual orders.
- Monitor and correct material movements.
- Evaluate and manage stock rotation procedures.
- Audit and count inventory to ensure accuracy.
- Recommend and implement improvements for departmental outcomes.
- Participate in offsite projects as appropriate.
- Oversee the box program : print labels for each cycle, sort by company, and ship hollow boxes as required.
- Manage redeployment cleaning processes.
- Review and address the finished goods report (sent three times a week) with daily attention.
- Work on the missing assets report, ensuring completion by the end of each week.
- Perform pre-scanning of Apple parts throughout the month.
- Conduct cycle counting for every active warehouse location monthly.
- Maintain knowledge of all procedures related to inventory, shipping, and asset management.
- Responsible for transfer of assets between facilities.
- Manage all movement lists pre- and post-production.
Education and Experience
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Basic math and reading skills; ability to maintain accurate records.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve work-related issues.Excellent organizational skills.Inventory control experience preferred.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for long periods, squat, twist, bend, and lift 10–50 lbs. (or more) regularly.
