Responsibilities :

• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
• Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper handling.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date activity logs and delivery records.
• Communicate any issues or incidents promptly with dispatch.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections to ensure vehicle integrity.
• Ensure secure attachment of the trailer hitch to the tractor unit.
• Transport pallets from Kent, Auburn, and Yakima to designated locations.
• Obtain necessary delivery confirmations through signatures or warehouse scans.
• Report any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered during routes.
• Follow the assigned delivery schedule while adhering to mandated rest periods.
• Maintain detailed logs of driving time and deliveries.
• Strictly follow company policies and procedures, along with ICC and DOT regulations.
• Prioritize safety at all times during transportation and deliveries.
