The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for a Business Development Representative to join the Singlewire team. As part of our team, you will be a highly visible team member responsible for the generating leads for the sales team. This position is located in our home office in Madison, WI and is an awesome opportunity to grow and succeed in the software technology industry!

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, competitive, and fast-paced team player to join our Sales team as a Business Development Representative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for following up, cold calling, prospecting, and qualifying leads. Qualified candidates should be self-starters with proven track records of success in their professional and personal or collegiate lives.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel the Singlewire pipeline
  • Target high buying intent accounts within a geographically territory
  • Work closely with Territory Managers and Account Managers to drive conversations with prospects
  • Respond to inbound requests via chat, telephone and email
  • Organize and categorize sales lead information into Salesforce
  • Achieve, or exceed, monthly quotas of qualified opportunities
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and balance time effectively
  • Problem-solving mentality to help create effective, and efficient, processes
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and identify potential Singlewire solutions to fulfill requirements
  • 1 to 2 years of Sales or internship experience
  • Proven success in meeting monthly targets
  • Experience using Salesforce
