Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to join our growing IT security team in London. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the security, integrity, and resilience of our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network security solutions, as well as proactively identifying and mitigating security risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure network solutions to protect the organisation’s data and systems.
• Monitor network traffic and security events to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and potential breaches.
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection / prevention systems (IDS / IPS), and other security technologies.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to colleagues on network security best practices.
