Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Chief Electrical Engineer ready to step into a leadership role overseeing electrical maintenance and power distribution operations within a commercial facility environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong field electrician who is ready to transition into a supervisory, strategy-focused position while still leveraging deep technical expertise.
This role will oversee a team of 6 electrical professionals, driving performance, safety, and operational excellence.
Electrical Systems Leadership
Supervise and direct electrical maintenance personnel on assigned shifts
Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and power distribution equipment
Diagnose issues with panels, transformers, motors, lighting systems, and building infrastructure
Ensure minimal downtime and efficient completion of service requests
Safety & Compliance
Lead preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems
Enforce NEC, OSHA, LOTO, and arc flash safety standards
Maintain safe, organized, and compliant electrical operations
Manage inventory of tools, parts, and testing equipment
Training & Team Development
Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to electrical staff
Support ongoing development in troubleshooting, electrical safety, and best practices
Foster professionalism, accountability, and high performance across the team
Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial electrical maintenance experience
Minimum 5 years of electrical supervisory or team leadership experience
Journeyman-level experience required (no state license required)
Strong background in commercial electrical systems and power distribution
Experience with building automation systems, life safety systems, and motor controls
Proficiency with electrical diagnostic tools and basic computer systems
Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred:
Associate degree in electrical technology or related field
Completion of apprenticeship program
Experience integrating electrical systems with HVAC, fire alarm, security, or emergency power systems
