Production Assembler - 2nd Shift

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Production Assembler - 2nd Shift. We are a leader in the design and production of critical power distribution products for many specific segments. The Production Assembler- 2nd Shift role offers a full time work week of 40 hours and potential overtime. Hours : 1 : 45pm-10 : 15pm. Full Benefits and 401k plan is offered to you day one of employment.

The hourly rate for this position is $23.40 plus $1.00 shift differential per hour. $1.00 shift differential.

What you'll do :

The Assembler will timely and accurately build sub-assemblies and assemblies to customer specifications involving complex and repetitive wiring and mechanics for Power Distribution Units (PDU), and Transformers.

In this function you will :

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to build sub-assemblies and assemblies
• Use cranes to pick up, and move transformers and materials
• Be responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly
• Use various fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product
• Perform point to point wiring during the assembling of Power Distribution Units
• Work with sheetmetal to build transformer legs and additional components related to transformer assembly
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and making necessary adjustments when required in order to meet quality goals
• Adhere to company, environmental, health, safety rules and regulations
• Provide process and safety improvement ideas
• Ensure machines and tools are properly calibrated and perform housekeeping duties as necessary using the principles of 5S+
