Join Phasor Engineering Inc, a subsidiary of Quanta Services, Inc, the leading specialty contractor in North America, known for its skilled workforce offering integrated infrastructure solutions in the electric power, underground utility, and communications sectors.

At Phasor Engineering's Geomatics Division, we specialize in delivering the spatial services essential for constructing, maintaining, mapping, and monitoring electrical infrastructure. Utilizing advanced geomatics technology such as GPS systems, terrestrial scanners, drones, high precision sensors, and helicopter-based LiDAR, we excel in our field.

We are currently seeking dedicated Survey Field Assistants for long-term opportunities to support larger scale construction projects.

As a condition of employment, successful applicants must undergo a Backcheck screening, which includes identity verification and a criminal background check.

Key Details :

  • Truck and equipment provided
  • Travel and accommodations covered by Phasor
  • 20 days of work followed by 10 days off

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in daily field survey activities, including obtaining measurements and staking for infrastructure construction under the supervision of the Survey Crew Chief
  • Maintain clear communication with the Survey Crew Chief, Field Leads, Project Managers, Professional Land Surveyors, and Client Field Representatives
  • Interpret design drawings, field data, and sketches
  • Travel to various project locations
  • Operate and maintain assigned survey equipment, including ATVs and tools
  • Promote Phasor's Health, Safety and Environmental Program actively

    • Qualifications :

  • Prior experience in surveying within engineering, construction, or industrial contexts
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Technical diploma in Geomatics or Civil Engineering preferred
