Position Overview
Platinum Property Management is seeking a
Full-Time Cleaning and Property Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining clean, organized, and well-kept properties through apartment turnovers, deep cleaning, inspections, and light maintenance tasks.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and delivers high-quality results with integrity and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning of apartments, common areas, and facilities according to company standards.
- Clean all surfaces including light fixtures, baseboards, fans, counters, cabinets, and floors.
- Vacuum and mop floors, including stairs and hard surfaces.
- Conduct move-in, move-out, transfer, and property inspections; document results accurately.
- Install and maintain lockboxes, manage key organization, and ensure secure key tracking.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper use and storage of supplies.
- Assist with supply inventory and restocking.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as installing deadbolts, locks, smoke detectors, light bulbs, and bathroom accessories.
- Assist with painting and property upkeep as needed.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude and represent the company well at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial experience preferred.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to read and follow cleaning and maintenance instructions accurately.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs of equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for up to 8 hours per day.
- Comfortable working around pet hair, dust, mold, and cleaning products.
- Basic knowledge of power tools (e.g., drills, screwdrivers) preferred.
- Basic smartphone knowledge for completing inspections and communicating with team members.
