: Job Summary

Staff pharmacists process / verify orders for medications, monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug information. Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel. In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Required : Bachelors in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
  • Preferred : Doctorate of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency

Experience

  • Required : No Prior Experience Required
  • Preferred : 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training

  • Required : Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist
  • Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire
