We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Billing Specialist with Deltek software experience to join our fast-paced accounting team. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant billing to clients and customers. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of invoicing and accounts receivable processes in a non-medical business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and issue accurate customer invoices in accordance with company policies and client agreements
• Verify billing data, including pricing, contract terms, and project or PO details
• Maintain billing schedules and ensure timely delivery of invoices to customers
• Resolve billing discrepancies by collaborating with internal departments (sales, operations, and accounting)
• Process billing adjustments, credits, and refunds as necessary
• Record and reconcile customer payments and support accounts receivable collections when needed
• Maintain organized and up-to-date billing and customer account records
• Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and revenue reporting
• Support audits and provide documentation as required
• Recommend improvements to streamline billing processes and enhance accuracy
