Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position on a night shift in an acute care setting in Ohio, requiring an active OH or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in a Level 1 maternity unit within an acute care hospital

Cross-trained to labor, mother / baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum care

Handles approximately 30 deliveries per month

Unit features 4 labor and delivery rooms and 6 postpartum rooms

Night shifts; three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend required

Uses CPSI and Centricity EMR systems

All staff must be cross-trained and able to provide care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery

Expected to adhere to AWHONN staffing guidelines

24 hours of orientation provided before starting

Night shift assignment with a consistent schedule

Work every other weekend as part of the shift rotation

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license required

Minimum of 3 years OB nursing experience

Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring

Experience with CPSI and Centricity EMR systems preferred
