Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Kick off the new year with a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an elementary school setting near Pasadena, TX. This direct hire, full-time role offers the chance to impact K5 students lives by addressing a variety of speech and language therapy needs. Ideal for professionals ready to advance their education career or expand their pediatric experience, this position provides a supportive environment focused on student success.

Location :

  • Onsite near Pasadena, TX
  • Elementary school setting (K5th grade)
  • Possible assignment to one or multiple school sites with mileage reimbursement available

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine eligibility for special education and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide individual and group therapy services targeting students' IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement communication support strategies within the classroom and school community.
  • Engage in district initiatives promoting positive school climate, cultural responsiveness, and social justice.
  • Offer training and support to faculty and staff on strategies for supporting students with speech and language disorders.

    • Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Texas state licensure as an SLP and ASHA certification of clinical competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Strong knowledge of current speech-language pathology theories, research, and best practices.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations and demonstrated cultural competence.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
