This role is based in Global MSAT, Engineering, and Sustainability (PTT), an organization that is responsible for ensuring Pharma Technical Operations (PT) stays at the forefront of technology in our current and future facilities. PTT plays a key role in leading seamless industrialization and thorough technical product management through integrating SHE, proactive maintenance, facility fitness, performance optimization, and scalable manufacturing processes and technologies in support of the manufacturing network. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the manufacturing network that delivers life saving medicines to patients.

The Opportunity

The Network Asset Lifecycle Management Lead within the PTT Asset Health & Future Assets (AHFA) group is responsible for driving the strategy for asset lifecycle management across the global PT network, including : maintenance, calibration, and reliability programs; spare parts inventory management; and CapEx planning for asset upgrades and replacements. This role also serves as the architect for Performance Governance and Digital / Data Integration for assets network-wide. A core responsibility of this role is partnering closely with the global Facilities and Engineering Network Team (FENT) to ensure consistent execution of asset lifecycle practices at each of the manufacturing sites across the PT network.

Develop, implement, and refine a global strategy for asset lifecycle management, including acquisition, utilization, maintenance, and decommissioning; oversee global asset operations to ensure consistency, compliance, and performance optimization.

Establish global standard KPIs and metrics for asset management; develop and implement mitigations for any under-performing metrics.

Set up global governance structures, including meeting routines, escalation paths, and decision forums; lead global change-management initiatives, communication plans, and training programs to ensure adoption of new standards.

Lead FENT subteam(s) (maintenance, calibration, and / or reliability), driving industry leading deployment and performance of current and future assets to flexibly, reliably and effectively enable manufacturing operations within the PT network.

Actively contribute to the development of best practices and continuous improvement opportunities by analyzing failure modes, root causes, and preventive strategies across regions in close collaboration with the Operational Excellence group.

Collaborate with global teams in Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement, and Quality to align asset lifecycle strategies with enterprise objectives; influence senior leadership by demonstrating the value of reliability and lifecycle strategies to achieve long-term business goals.

Deploy advanced analytics tools and platforms to track asset reliability performance and lifecycle maintenance metrics; integrate digital solutions such as CMMS, IoT systems, and data visualization platforms to support real-time decision-making and improve global standardization.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Asset Management, or related fields.

Minimum of 12 years of experience in asset lifecycle management, preferably in a large global pharmaceutical or biotech organization.

Background in Operational Excellence, PMO, or performance management.

Experience with data engineering, analytics, or IT specifically for manufacturing environments.

Experience with quality and audit requirements within the pharmaceutical or similar regulated industries.

Flexibility for domestic and international travel as required.

Relocation benefits are not available for this posting.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Oceanside, California is $136,200 to $253,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
