Job Description

Tele / PCU RN Meal Break Team

Location

Concord, CA

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts will be from 10 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM, working 32 hours per week.

Job Description

A Tele / PCU RN is needed for the Meal Break Team. The RN will work across all PCU, Tele, and Med Surg units, providing coverage for meal breaks and relief on these units. The RN will report to the staffing office and may be assigned to multiple units during their shift. Proper orientation and hand-offs will be provided for each patient.

Responsibilities

  • Provide meal break coverage and patient care across assigned units.
  • Receive orientation and complete necessary hand-offs for patient care.
  • Adapt to various units as assigned throughout the shift.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Valid California RN license.
  • 2+ years of strong telemetry experience.
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
  • Experience with EPIC preferred.
  • Prior travel experience is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience preferred.
