Staff Accountant - Valparaiso, IN (Onsite)

 Salary Range : $55,000 - $65,000

A well-established organization in Valparaiso, Indiana is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage month-end close activities , including reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.

Oversee and process accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Collaborate with multiple departments to support financial reporting and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain thorough documentation and assist with audit preparation and internal reviews.

Qualifications :

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with strong month-end and AR expertise .

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Strong Excel proficiency and comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment .
