Requirements :

This position requires :

• Prior experience in a high-volume, fast paced kitchen
• Experience with Latino American products and cooking methods a plus
• Set up workstations with all necessary supplies
• Check mise en place for quality and par levels
• Prepare food for service as required for the station, following recipes & methods
• Answer, report to, and follow chef’s instructions
• Clean up station and properly store remaining mise en place
• Ensure that dishes come out in a quality and timely fashion
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards, which include properly cooling and heating procedures, as well as identifying safe holding temperatures
• Since this is an open kitchen, maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Other duties as assigned by management team
