Manufacturing Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.

Job Summary : We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Programmer to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure product and process quality in our manufacturing operations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Organize CAD files from design engineers.
• Use SigmaNest software to create cut packages.
• Use SigmaNest tools to maximize utilization, increase use of remnants, use available stock material, and keep multiple cutting machines organized and balanced based on machine capabilities and material properties.
• Creatively solve production-related issues through nesting processes.
• Select machine and tooling configurations to manufacture parts cost effectively.
• Respond to rework requests.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with stakeholders.
• Support production-related priorities and deadlines.
