Job Title : Engineering Technician

Location : Brea, CA

Pay Rate : $30.00 per hour

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our team at a medical device manufacturing facility in Brea. This role supports engineering and production teams by assisting with product design updates, documentation, and technical support for manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate has strong 3D modeling and AutoCAD experience and is comfortable working in a regulated medical device environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and modify 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software
  • Support engineers with design changes, documentation, and product updates
  • Maintain accurate engineering documentation and revision control
  • Assist with prototype builds and product testing when needed
  • Work cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams
  • Follow medical device quality standards, GMP, and safety procedures
  • Troubleshoot basic design and manufacturing issues

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Engineering Technician or similar technical experience
  • Strong experience with 3D Modeling
  • Strong experience using AutoCAD
  • Experience working in manufacturing (medical device preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Basic understanding of mechanical or product design principles

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of GMP, ISO, or FDA regulated environments
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering, Drafting, or related field
