Job Title: Studio Associate - Part-Time

About Color Me Mine Color Me Mine is the world's largest paint-your-own pottery franchise. We are a fun, casual art studio where guests of all ages can paint their own pottery in a relaxed and creative environment. Our goal is to provide a unique and enjoyable experience for every person who walks through our doors.

Position Summary We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Studio Associate. The ideal candidate will be a creative and self-driven "people person" who loves working with the public, including children. This role is perfect for someone who can multitask, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service, greeting and assisting guests with a positive and helpful attitude.
  
  
• Educate customers on painting techniques, materials, and the pottery-making process from start to finish.
  
  
• Handle sales transactions, process payments using our POS system, and book special events and parties.
  
  
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio, including restocking shelves and ensuring a tidy workspace.
  
  
• Assist with the glazing and firing process (training provided).
  
  
• Answer phones and address customer inquiries.
  
  
• Promote studio events and party packages.
  
  
• Perform opening and closing duties as required.

• Perform all backroom operations like operating Kilns and glazing, packaging and sanding ceramic pieces
  
  

Requirements:

• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  
  
• Proven experience in a customer-facing role (retail or service industry preferred).
  
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  
  
• A strong work ethic and a desire to take initiative.
  
  
• Passion for art, creativity, and a positive attitude.
  
  
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes up to 25 lbs.
