Environmental Services Lead

The Environmental Services Lead is responsible for coordination of daily operations and staffing needs of the Environmental Services Department assuring excellent customer service and the quality of cleanliness of the building meets or exceeds the expectation of the organization. This position does not directly manage other caregivers, however may be asked to review and provide feedback on the work of other caregivers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES : Responsible for cleaning and disinfection of specialty units & equipment. Areas include but are not limited to Surgical Services, Labor Delivery, Critical Care, Endoscopy, MRI, Trauma, Cath Lab, NICU, and Mental Health. Performs duties while demonstrating working knowledge of the health care cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements, proper and safe chemical use, equipment handling, and labor saving products for all items within the specialty environment tasked with servicing.
